Rare Advanced 8-LP Promotional Boxset In 1979 Reader's Digest produced this advanced experimental 8-LP boxset. The purpose of this release was a test amongst its employees who unanimously approved the set. Reader's Digest then produced this great boxset complete with a Elvis portrait cover to the public via TV and magazine marketing. Very few of the promotional advanced set housed in a white leatherette box with recessed gold leaf titles ever made their way to the public. Extremely rare and desirable especially with 8 unplayed mint LPs. The exclusive leatherette white box features perfect seams, perfect corners and spine and is in very good triple plus condition. Back cover shows some discoloration.
