Joseph Tunzi has formed a new independent label, JAT Records. This compact disc is the first release from Joe. A Cold Night In Nashville is an absolutely amazing compilation focusing on what was to be the future direction of Elvis Presley's recording career. In January 1977 Elvis flew to Nashville to finished his Moody Blue LP at Creative Workshop Studios. Unforeseen circumstances made Elvis cancel these sessions. The songs included on this collectors CD are the songs he listened to and chose to record for his next LP release. Elvis tragically passed away before he could record the songs for A Cold Night In Nashville. Now, for the first time you have the opportunity to explore the music from the demos Elvis listened to and chose to include. Bonus cuts include the original demos for two of Elvis' biggest 70's hits, Way Down and I Got A Feelin' In My Body. Dennis Linde, who wrote Burning Love for Elvis, had to new songs chosen by Elvis. They were By Day, By Day and Let Me On. Even if Elvis did not get to record this great album this release reveals that his growth as an artist was still thriving at the time of his untimely death. A Cold Night In Nashville stands up as a great collection of music and allows you, the Elvis fan, the opportunity to hear what would have been. |
