International Hotel - Summer Festival Menu - 8 1/2x11 - Beautiful Elvis in black jacket wearing his diamond wedding ring - Ultra rare!! This menu was used by the International after they ran out of the Opening Night Menu. It has been misidentified in Elvis Collectibles book as a 1975 Las Vegas Hilton Menu. The author was correct that the hotel was the Hilton in 1975 but as the menu clearly states this menu was issued compliments of the International Hotel. The inside reads, "Special Elvis Souvenir Menu" and states "Complete Elvis Souvenir Photo Album On Sale At Hotel Entrance And Cafe Continental". This information further identifies this incredible Elvis piece of history as being from the 1969 opening engagement as the giant Elvis souvenir stand, which would be used in the future to sell Elvis souvenirs, still had not been created. This menu is in extraordinary condition. Front cover displays brilliant color and like-new appearance, tiny bump on bottom right corner edge. Back cover again is in brilliant condition. A small circular stain as if the original show attendee rest their drink. This stain appears on the left edge and does not interfere with the Elvis image itself. The inside is virtually mint on this extraordinary and almost impossible to obtain Elvis International Hotel menu. |
