This 12" acetate is on a black audiodisc. The words 'audiodisc 3291 Made in the USA' is stamped in red surrounding the spindle hole and this wording is surrounded by 3 identical holes in a triangle shape which would have been used to hold the acetate in place at Sam Phillips' Memphis Recording Studio. The acetate contains a track by an unknown female and a track of Elvis singing a slightly different version of "Milkcow Blues". This unique piece of history features a piece of tape with the following written in Sam Phillips' hand "Elvis - Milkcow" on one line and "Unk female vcl" below. Given to Elvis by Sam Phillips this early unreleased recording is one of the rarest in Rock 'n Roll history. Elvis later gave it to Homer Gillelan. Gil and Elvis knew each other since Elvis was a boy. He was originally Gladys Presley's hairstylist and later became Elvis' hairdresser and tint specialist.
