Dick Clark's "Elvis" the motion picture starring Kurt Russell had higher ratings than Gone With The Wind that was broadcast at the same time on another network. The ABC film, in fact, was the highest rated TV movie of 1979. The soundtrack album was produced by Elvis' longtime producer Felton Jarvis and many of Elvis' musicians also appear as well as background vocals by the Jordanaires and Kathy Westmoreland. Of course both the film and soundtrack album would have suffered greatly had it not been for the great Ronnie McDowell. This album is still sealed and in stone mint condition.
