Issued by the United States Army Recruiting Command Feb. 1975 to promote "Promised Land". This promotional-only double album features famed disc jockey known as Ol' Gene Price who was famous at the time for his radio show, Throttle Of The Country Express. Gene Price made these special albums of the best in country music available to local army representatives so that the music could bring pleasure to America's young men and women serving in the United States Army to keep America safe. Both records are stone mint and appear to have never been on a turntable. Both the front back and insides of the gatefold book cover are also mint. About a 1" seam split in the top right-hand corner from taking the record in and out is the only thing preventing the cover from being called stone mint.
