Mega-rare Black Vinyl ReleaseOriginal RCA 50th Ann. label - Very rare still sealed copy - Book of full color photos - Black vinyl - This is a replica of the 1957 legendary LOC-1035. Issued only days before Christmas when the green vinyl version sold out. Most Elvis fans never knew a black vinyl version existed. The black vinyl didn't sell well as collectors had already purchased the green vinyl version and by the time they learned of the black vinyl issue Christmas had passed and the LPs had been returned from the stores to RCA. Making it even harder to find this ultra-rare black edition was the fact that by the following Christmas record shops had become compact disc stores and had stopped stocking vinyl. |
