This is the original Double "G" DG-004 CD in mint uncirculated unplayed condition. Amazingly rare original first pressing. Rare, if ever, offered for sale. This great double CD was recorded in the spring of 1958 shortly after Elvis was drafted into the Army. After completing 8 weeks of basic training he began a 2 week leave on June 1. On June 10 & 11 Elvis had a recording session at RCA's national studios. Recording from early in the morning through the night RCA hoped that this recording session would provide enough new material to last while Elvis served his country for the next two years. It was to be his last recording session until March 20, 1960. Brand new. Not sealed. Song titles: Disc 1: June 10, 1958 - I Need Your Love Tonight (takes 1-15 including take 10B), I Need Your Love Tonight (master take), Big Hunk O' Love (takes 1,2,3,4), Big Hunk O' Love (takes 3,4, spliced master take), Ain't That Lovin' You Baby (takes 1-11 Note: take 1 medium tempo, take 5 fast tempo), A Fool Such As I (takes 1-8), Fool Such As I (take 9 master take), Disc 2: June 11, 1958 - I Got Stung (takes 1-22 Note: Take 19 missing) I Got Stung (master take) Bonus: Complete Elvis Sails Press Conference September 22, 1958, John Paris interviews Elvis in Germany, Elvis arrives in Bremerhaven.
