In 1956 Elvis became king of the whole wide world and this extraordinarily rare original mono version of Elvis' first RCA album LPM-1254 from South Africa proves it. Produced in a very small quantity as Elvis' popularity hadn't spread in South Africa at the time this album today is one of the rarest and most sought after versions of Elvis historic first LP. The record is in very good condition and features the original silver RCA Victor with long 33 1/3 on labels. The vinyl amazingly still retains the shine and luster of new. A few light scuffs and some light spindle marks on label. The record is in its original custom South Africa clear innersleeve. The original and beautiful front cover is highly laminated. The back cover is the flip back version. All seams and spine are in fantastic shape. Corners are nice with just a hint of wear. I've been running the record club now for 40 years and this is the first time I've ever been able to offer this album. |
