Elvis International Hotel January 1971 Advance Radio Stations Menu Details

This extraordinary piece was not known to exist by even the largest and most knowledgeable Elvis collectors until now. This is an elvisunique.com world premier offering. At first glance this menu looks to be the same as the rare International Hotel 9x12 menu that was available during Elvis' sold out engagement. The standard version was one of three different menus available at the hotel and was produced in the smallest quantity. This amazing discovery features the same stunning picture of Elvis with his name in lights and International Hotel logo on its front cover and the original Elvis Country display ad on the back cover. That's where the similarity ends. Upon opening the menu it reads across the top in bold black the following announcement, "January 26 Special Advance Souvenir Menu For Radio Stations Collection Through February 23, 1971". This fantastic promo produced by Colonel Parker was given to select Las Vegas disc jockeys. Probably no more than 50 copies ever existed. This may be the first and last one ever offered for sale. Front and back cover show some whitening or best described as slight wear. Tiny stick pin hole in corner. The inside is close to mint and, of course, it is the inside that proclaims this a promo that makes this so special.
