Yes, folks, an American version of the 1970 classic Camden LP, Let's Be Friends, does exist on compact disc. This amazingly rare and, until now, unknown CD was produced in the mid 80's by RCA for a women's cosmetic company to be sold as part of a television ad campaign that was to include the Let's Be Friends idea which would have been the tie-in for the CD that would have been an exclusive offer from the cosmetic firm. Although the CDs and their original covers were produced the campaign and idea fell by the wayside when the cosmetic firm changed the name of their ad campaign. I have managed to obtain only a few copies of this original 80's RCA compact disc. If you collect Elvis or rare Elvis CDs don't miss this opportunity as I'm sure it won't come again.
