During this tour Elvis wore jumpsuits with capes for the first time and the corresponding scarf would be the only one he wore for the entire concert, meaning you had to be incredibly lucky to receive a stage scarf from Elvis at the end of his concert.

Rarest Elvis Las Vegas Hilton Stage Worn Logo Concert Scarf

  Personal Belongings; Assorted Vegas Memorabilia:

Elvis' Own Custom Hilton Scarf

As most serious fans are aware Elvis wore custom faux autographed scarves for a time during one of his legendary Las Vegas Hilton engagements. These scarves were different in the respect that they featured a giant Hilton "H" as well as Elvis' autograph. These scarves were the same size and dimension as the scarves Elvis had been wearing since 1971. What I am offering here is without a doubt the rarest and most unique personally worn performance concert scarf in history. Elvis wore this ivory scarf featuring a faux autograph and Hilton logo in blue. What makes this piece so unique is that the size is 8" wide and 36" long. Elvis used this new style for only 3 performances. The thought was that they would not have to be folded as many times by Charlie Hodge to create the customary stage appearance. The problem with the new scarf was that it unfolded too easily and Elvis had trouble getting use to them on stage. This incredible piece of history is in perfect condition. Hemmed all the way around it still sports its original care tag attached on the back side.

Autographed Acetate - Elvis Presley - Ladies Man from America

Autograph; Acetate; Personal Belonging: Elvis loved this song and wanted badly to record it. Music publishing rights could never be obtained. It's a shame because if you could hear it I'm sure you'd agree Elvis would have had a number one with it. Elvis kept this acetate with its custom red & white RCA Nashville label in his personal collection at Graceland until he autographed the original record sleeve and gave it to me.

Blue Suede Shoes/Honey Don't from America

78; Personal Belonging: Mint - Although this is not an Elvis record, it is by Carl Perkins, it is being included in this catalog because this rare 78 belonged to Elvis. It was part of Elvis' personal collection. Mr. Perkins who wrote Blue Suede Shoes, and actually had a bigger hit with it than Elvis, recently passed away. He personally told me how proud he was that Elvis had accepted this copy of his biggest hit from him and kept it in his personal collection until the day he died. It was later given to me by Elvis' father, Vernon Presley.

Milkcow Blues Boogie from America

Acetate; Personal Belonging: VG - This 12" acetate is on a black audiodisc. The words 'audiodisc 3291 Made in the USA' is stamped in red surrounding the spindle hole and this wording is surrounded by 3 identical holes in a triangle shape which would have been used to hold the acetate in place at Sam Phillips' Memphis Recording Studio. The acetate contains a track by an unknown female and a track of Elvis singing a slightly different version of "Milkcow Blues". This unique piece of history features a piece of tape with the following written in Sam Phillips' hand "Elvis - Milkcow" on one line and "Unk female vcl" below. This historic recording remained a part of Elvis' personal collection into the mid 70's when he gave it to me.

That's When Your Heartaches Begin from America

Acetate; Personal Belonging: Mint - Perhaps the most famous recording event in all of music's history. In 1953, the exact date is unknown, when Elvis Presley made his historic decision to enter the Memphis Recording Service on Union Ave. to record "My Happiness" backed with "That's When Your Heartaches Begin", he unknowingly began the greatest recording career of all time. These two songs would remain unreleased for almost 40 years when RCA would finally issue them on the "Complete 50's Masters" boxset. Incredibly this version of "That's When Your Heartaches Begin" is an alternate to the released version and has never been heard to this day. The beautiful white & red label features "Memphis Recording Service 706 Union - 37-7197-Memphis, Tenn." in red. Typed on two lines "That's When Your Heartaches Begin Elvis Pressley (misspelled)". Elvis' name is underlined in pen. On the second line it says "For radio station play only", under that written in ink "Humes" the name of Elvis' high school. This acetate, from the personal collection of Elvis Presley, is without a doubt the rarest record in the world!
